What if I told you that you can do much of your business with Social Security online? 

As a result, you do not need to contact or visit your local Social Security office. 

The online applications can be completed at any time and save your progress can be done so you can come back to them at a later time.

Retirement or Spouse's Benefits – You can apply up to four months before your benefits start.   

To be eligible for benefits, you must be at least 62 for the entire month. 

This requirement is met if you were born on the first or second day of the month and it should be your 62nd birthday.  

You must wait until the following month to meet this requirement if you were born on any other day of the month.

You can get disability benefits if you are 18 years or older and you are not receiving on your Social Security record earlier.

You may be having a medical condition that will prevent them from working for at least 12 months or result in their death. 

And your disability benefits were not denied in the last 60 days. If your application is recently rejected, you can use the online method as your starting point to review your application.

SSI payments are made to Adults and children with disability or blindness whose income levels are far below.
