More details about the Chicago Moves program can be found here

As part of its efforts to combat inflation and rising gas prices, the Chicago City Council has introduced Chicago Moves.

The program will issue up to 50,000 gas cards at 150 dollars and 100,000 transit cards at 50 dollars to eligible residents.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said in a press release that Chicago Moves is a win for all Chicago residents who struggle with transportation expenses.

As a result of this program, Chicago residents will be able to save their resources for other critical expenses and focus on their own desires and needs.

Thanks to my colleagues in City Council, for making this funding is available to our residents. It keeps them moving.
