Most of the AMERICANS are still waiting for stimulus check payments.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) began the tax season on January 24 with the deadline to file penalty-free tax returns in April.

According to the IRS, it has processed more than 143 Million tax returns this year alone.

Most of the returns are processed within 21 days or 6 to 8 weeks if you are filiing it manually.

For some people, it is required additional review and may take longer period.

As of Jun 22, It has over 11.2 million individual applications pending which were received last year.

If you are still waiting for your IRS Stimulus payment, here's how you can track it and claim your cash.

The IRS has informed you that you no longer use Get My Payment to check your Payment status.

In order to see the amount of the third stimulus payment, you will need to create or view your online account...

...or you will need to refer to IRS Notice 1444-C, which you received after sending your payment.  

Additionally, If you have an IRS online account, you can locate your total economic impact payment amounts under the tab for the 2021 tax year.

This message informs you that you can claim a credit for the recovery rebate. 

How do I check my payment status if it isn't available?

It's also a good idea to file a tax return for 2020, even if you are not required to do so. 

Based on information from your tax return, a recovery rebate credit calculates your eligibility and the amount of your stimulus check.
