The Social Security Supplemental Income for 2022 will hit accounts in WEEKS - find out the exact date for the remittance

Just a few weeks from now, millions of Americans will receive DIRECT Supplemental Security Income payments.

The maximum federal SSI payment in 2022 will be $841 per month for an eligible individual.

An individual with an eligible spouse is entitled to $1,261 per month as per this program.

In order to qualify for SSI, individuals cannot have assets exceeding $2,000, while couples can have assets up to $3,000.

NEXT ROUND OF SSI payments will be deposited on August 1

Social Security and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) will be paid next on Wednesday, July 13, July 20, and July 27. 

Those who do not receive their direct deposit on time should contact their banks, as per the SSA.

There will be an average increase of $1,657 a month for retired workers. 

A typical couple's monthly benefits will increase by $154 - from $2,599 to $2,753. 

It has been reported that some might wonder if there will be a $200 increase in the payment.

According to Marca, As of now, there are no plans in place to make this a reality.  

Kids can get benefits  up to $3,796 monthly

According to the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare, the SSA provides 42.8 billion assistance to 4 million children every month.

A child can receive up to $3,145.50 per month from Social Security, with a maximum cap of $4,194.
