How many homeowners qualify for the US Home Stimulus 2022? Lets find out in this story.

This is a help for those who have experienced financial hardship post-pandemic.

US Treasury Department has released a guideline for people seeking to apply to the Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF).

The government will provide citizens with approximately 9.9 billion dollars in financial assistance.

This foundation was established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in order to help those who suffered financial hardship.

A goal of the HAF is to provide funds to individuals and families in need to avoid mortgage delinquencies, defaults, foreclosures, and displacement caused by delinquencies.

Who is eligible for homeowner stimulus?

This scheme is only available to those who suffered hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This means that their income has been affected by the virus since January 21, 2020.

If a homeowner experiences financial hardship after January 21, 2020, they may qualify for funds allocated to a HAF participant .

This means that they have an income below 150 percent of the area median income or 100 percent of the US median income, whichever is greater," the US Treasury explains.

HAF funds may only be provided to a homeowner for qualified expenses relating to the homeowner's primary residence.

Homeowners participating in the HAF must attest that they experienced financial hardship after January 21, 2020.

Financial hardships must be described in the attestation (such as job loss, reduced income, or increased healthcare costs)."
