Lithium Solar battery for household solar and how it works…

Solar energy represents the second source of renewable energy in India behind hydroelectricity and wind power electricity. Electricity produced by solar panels installed on the roofs of private homes is not necessarily consumed immediately and where it is produced. This electricity can be injected into the distribution network and sold, or else put in reserve. Storing electricity from solar panels for deferred consumption is the role of solar storage batteries.

What is a solar storage battery used for?

The solar storage batteries allow reserving electricity generated by the solar panels for later use. Indeed, solar energy is a source that cannot guarantee an identical yield from one day to the next. Depending on the amount of sunshine, the energy captured will not be the same. The capacity to supply energy will be much greater on a day in full sun than on a rainy day. The production of electricity will be greatly reduced when the weather is gray, even if some rays manage to cross the cloud layer. The production of energy from solar panels is not predictable, so we must be able to store it, for we use a solar lithium-ion battery rechargeable.

How does solar lithium-ion battery work?

The functioning of a lithium-ion cell is linked to electrochemical phenomena: chemical reactions within cells make it possible to generate electricity.

When the cell is fully charged, the lithium, in ionic form, is stored in a reception structure on the anode side. When there is a demand for electricity, lithium is oxidized and releases electrons. Lithium flows to the other electrode (the cathode) through the electrolyte while the electrons travel through the electrical circuit to supply the various organs.

When lithium reaches the cathode, it reacts with the active material of the cathode and the electrons which have traveled through the electrical circuit to be stored there (reduction). When charging the battery, reverse reactions occur to move lithium ions to the graphite anode.

What uses for a solar storage battery?

On a sunny day, the amount of electricity produced by solar panels will be significant. In the case of solar panels installed on the roof of a house, this very high electricity production will undoubtedly be greater than the daily requirement of the household. This electricity can then be stored on a solar battery. Conversely, on a rainy day when electricity production will be low, residents will be able to use the electricity stored on the battery for their consumption. In this case, we speak of self-consumption since the electricity produced by the solar panels located on the roof of the house or in the garden is intended for the consumption of the home itself. Conversely, owners of solar panels can also resell their electricity in whole or in part, by injecting it into the public distribution network.

If storing your own electricity seems interesting to guard against the vagaries of the weather and never run out of electricity, this equipment comes at a cost. The amount of the investment is quite high, it is better to make sure to know the quantity of energy produced by its installation. Brands like Loom Solar offer you the proper installation estimation and overall cost. The products especially solar batteries from Loom Solar are the best in quality all over India.
